Madikwe Apiculture Project
We continue to plan for the full implementation of this project within the next few weeks. Currently, we are engaging the Barokologadi Communal Property Association (BCPA) in order to identify the direct project beneficiaries. We aim to provide theoretical and practical training to about 15 people, ideally female youth, in order to create entrepreneurial opportunities for them in agriculture and apiculture. Subsequently, the group will then set up 200 hives over a 4 month period. On-going support and training for this initiative will be provided by Mmabatho Portia Morudi over the implementation period until the group harvests honey for the first time.
