On the 30th September 2022, Godisang Development held graduations ceremony in partnership with Barokologadi Communal Property Association and Elephants, Rhinos & People for the class of 2021/22 National Certificate: End User Computing at Barokologadi Community Hall, Pitsedisulejang.
The delighted learners had completed the course with a record of 100% pass rate (no drop out) which is a positive feedback from the programme. To show continued support, one of the learners, Cleopatra Modisane, received a laptop to be able to do her assignments as she has been assisted to apply and accepted to study LLB Degree (Law) at UNISA. Three learners, Basetsana Diale, Ikgetheng Galetlole and Tumelo
Ngwatoe, additionally received 2 laptops and a printer to kickstart their internet cafe business.
The graduation ceremony served as the completion of the program but the beginning of a new journey for the learners. Prof. Victor Molobi, our very own Mosebo, gave a heart-warming motivation as well as encouraging them to preserve their heritage. Mr Boas Mokgophe(BCPA Deputy-Chair) gave remarks and shared chairperson’s address with the attendees. Mr Peo Boakgomo (Godisang Development Founder) also encouraged the new graduates and highlighted to them to always “put their best foot forward”.
Certificates were handed over to the learners and picture moments followed
then afterwards lunch was served.
In attendance were Tribal Authority Council member (Mr Kgomotso Maotwe), BCPA Deputy Chairperson (Mr Boas Mokgophe), BCPA Deputy Secretary (Mr Edwin Mogatusi), Maretlwana Village Representative (Ms Letlotlo Mpete), Pitsedisulejang Village Representative (Mr Philimon Matshwane), elders who were born in Melorane (Mr Meshack Nkele and Mr Mabeo Ditlhale), BCPA General Manager (Mr Amos Setou), BCPA Administrator (Mr Letsatsi Ditlhale) who was the program director for the day, Professor Victor Molobi, Peace Foundation Chairperson & ERP Director (Mr Lesiba Masibe), ERP Managing Director (Ms Este Smith), ERP Operations Manager (Mr Robert du Plessis), Godisang Development Founder (Mr Peo Boakgomo) and Godisang Development staff and facilitator.
